Meet our hosts
Allison and Charles Sobieck, natives of Somerset, Kentucky and Edmond, Oklahoma, respectively, have always loved food and entertaining. They both have had the opportunity to work at great places such as the gourmet food division of the Kroger Company, the Hyatt Regency Corporation, and A Cameron Mitchell Company.

Upon both graduating with honors from Sullivan University in Louisville, they decided to return to Allison's hometown of Somerset and open a bed and breakfast. With a 5-guestroom bed and breakfast, a catering company and a 2-year old son, Allison proclaims “We aren’t in the hospitality business; we’re in the entertainment business!” But the satisfaction of owning a successful business is only one of the benefits for this pair of entrepreneurs, "The fun part of our job is that through catering, we've gotten to celebrate 80th birthdays, weddings, baby showers, family reunions, etc...It makes our day to know that we're a part of what makes their special occasions so memorable” explains Chuck.

No matter what Allison and Chuck just feel lucky to be in Somerset. As a famous author once wrote, "I'm American by birth, and Southern by the grace of God," and that sums it up for this uniquely talented pair!
